sounds very reasonably priced to me, the mileage isnt too high either - just shows its been driven.

Looks a very nice car.

An 06 NA Exige will go for around £20k so an S at that price looks good to me.

Im sure someone will correct me but are they the right seats, i thought all Exige seats came with the harness cut outs??

I also think he has made a mistake with his service records.

I have been out in this car with its current owner and its a spot on example.

I think with regards value, its a reflection of the current money / finance situation combined with winter nearing.

Harness cut outs came with the sports pack, along with the harness bar (and not a lot else I think?) - mine has them. I think it may have a beefed up roll over bar, but I'm not 100% sure?

Wouldn't be happy letting mine go for £22.5k at the moment, so it will have to stay for a while longer!

I have been following the prices of Exiges for a while and thats about right, they don't hold their prices all that well. It always makes me smile when people talk of the hits taken on Europa's (assuming anyone paid list price) but ignoring that Exige prices are just as soft.

With the current situation it isnt going to get any better so ride it out for a year or so!

that is about right for a special colour exige s i think in this market but no sports pack so that will harm it going quick...better to sell now as tax is going up to a higher band so prices will be even more effected...not many people are going to be attracted by a over 300 pound tax band for a weekend car..

Thats rubbish - if you can afford a £20k + weekend toy, I doubt you are going to be bothered by a £100 increase in tax over a year, when there are so many other costs that dwarf that. You could burn £100 of fuel in an exige S on a single trackday easily. If that £100 is the difference between owning / buying one, you cant afford to own one in the first place.

As for it being better to sell it now because its going to be a few quid more to tax?!

I dont think the S is even in the highest tax bracket...its about 208 or something when the top band is 225? I think the top band is now £450? It was £400 last year!

I have a 2008 M/Y Exige with SP and PP it doesn't have the holes for a 5 point harness in the seats, neither did the other same spec car I looked at.
Probably a facelift thing trying to promote a "softer" image frown

The reason your 08 wont have holes for harnesses is because they introduced the new dash with air bags they couldn't pass safety regs with airbags + harnesses. This is why nearly all new models came with the touring pack an not the probax sport seats. Besides you cant change the steering wheel with the air bag so better off going for a later 07 model if you ask me.

Are you sure about 08 cars not having holes for harnesses as I have a 08 car that came off the production line in September and that has holes for harnesses in the seats along with airbags?

I believe you need to order the Sports Pack Option to get the Probax seats with the harness slot cut-outs
