Excellent. It may be a bit nerdy but I love seeing these deep space images. I think it's kind of mind blowing to even scratch the surface of what's "up there". Some of them are incredible, almost beautiful.http://www.nasaimages.org

Pah, that's nothing. Do a search for VV Cephei. It's larger than the orbit of Jupiter and makes earth look like an insignificant speck.

I suppose they might look less dense/bright as if you were there you'd looking at everything in a wider angle... i.e. mega powerful telescope is a super narrow lens so would distort things/make things look flatter.The images of far off galaxies, such as the first ones in the thread... do they actually look like that?
