Training film, hence Rammages ban - last I heard he was peddling the Streets hard!

On topic though, its certainly hardhitting and well prepared, you can't help thinking its gonna give some people the wrong idea though....

Are you trying to suggest that there's some people out there who will turn to buggering children solely because of a story they've seen on Eastenders?

No! However if they're already that way inclined, it might give them further reason/ideas on how to carry on buggering them successfully.

Anyway its a soap and tosh, get it off the box.

Well I think enough people watch it for that not happening for a long time.

I can't see what the issue is. It is an issue that happens, it is in the news, so why not add it into a soap which is meant to represent the "real life issues".

I have seen people killed on Eastenders, I don't think this has caused an increase in murders. Big fuss over nothing really.

Was the OP suggesting that we would all catch pedo-ness by seeing it?

It will more likely increase paranoia amongst the red top and daily mail reading demographic.

Personally I think its noncesense.

If anything such stories are a training guide so that people can recognise the symptoms of abuse and help put a stop to it.

recall some interview with one of the "stars", forget the name, but he played a nasty man in the series, was out walking and some old woman started attacking him in the street for something he had done in the series, apparently she believed it was all real

watched it a couple of times surfing channels during adverts, found the adverts more fun smile

The thing all soaps have in common, is that they are all ste.
