After an ill advised 3am drinking binge yesterday/this morning - my hangover is starting to really smart.

I've tried about a gallon of water and a foot long sub - nothing is getting rid of this bad boy.

I just thought I would put it out there ask what methods people use to fight the symptoms of indulgence

I can usually feel it coming on at about 6/7am, so I take a couple of alka selzter, nod back off to sleep and wake up fine. Doesn't help you much though.

The trick is to be pre-emptive - when you're drinking make sure you have a glass of water every 2 drinks - always works for me.

I like that idea - however I don't think my little man has much drive and determination right now! Also, the others in the office might not be too keen on my humping their leg!

Always the same for me. Wake up, couple of Alka Seltzer XS (must be XS) in a pint of water, followed by a berocca in a pint of water. Cup of strong tea with sugar, boiled eggs with soldiers. If needs be return to bed for a few hours, wake up fine.
