Whats a job thats actually worthwhile doing ?? I mean you would actually get some job satisfaction out of it and would enjoy doing it ?? Would pay the bills and give you cash to enjoy yourself every so often.

Well ??

Michael Jackson's make-up person. You get congratulated on making the chimp look a chump.

Sometimes I do enjoy being an underwriter (just in case the bosses are reading!), but I'd love to have a go at working for Gregor Fisken or Duncan Hamilton selling classic cars - that would be a hoot!

If you're enjoying your job then surely that makes it worthwhile? Given that we spend around a third of our adult lives at work you'd better enjoy it - either that or find another job (mortgages and kids and lack of opportunity in the porn industry notwithstanding).

Cheers,

Animal

If you like, Can I have that V8 thingy from your profile though?

On a more serious note mine can be satisfying and some days just good fun. Other days like yesterday and this afternoon can be nasty. As I get to spend tomorrow driving to the lake district, having lunch then driving home it makes up for it.

I spent two years as a volunteer looking after disabled students at Glasgow Uni. I got £25 a week cash in hand, my own room in halls of residence, and 2 meals a day. It was an incredibly worthwhile and rewarding experience. And I got to live the student life without having to study smile

But then I didn't have any bill to worry about in those days.

Nope looks like I'm stuck with the diesel. I am an operations manager at a youth centre. PITA when I'm a manager great job when I revert to youth work.
