....and I don't even know why. confused I just don't like him. I hate it when he's on the TV and have to turn over. I don't like the fact that he's opening a restaurant in my home town. Can't stand the look of him or his stupid bloody accent. etc etc etc

Missus asked me last night, after some years of putting up with my growling, "why?".

"Don't know" says I, "can't put my finger on it, just can't stand the fella."

Maybe I'm just weird. Don't mind any other TV chefs. Quite enjoy watching some of them.

I dislike him less than I used to, but his (over)use of the word "pukka" used to get right on my tits.

Is it because he is another one of these celebs who are trying to make people do what they want them to do because they are celebs and we must all obey them because they are celebs?

Is he a backer of MMGW as well?

I met him and he seemed like a decent bloke.

Still can't stand the fat-tongued wker though.

He's harmless enough. The "celeb" who just makes my skin crawl for no apparent reason is the woman from Location Location Location. Not sure if it's the fact that she wanders into a room full of camera and sound men and acts all surprised as if she's never been in there before, or her stupid staged conversations with estate agents. Eugh.

TV chefs...sorry, but Nigella thinking the ideal solution to not having time to eat properly is to take some home made pea soup into the back of a taxi is just bloody ridiculous. Must remember that next time I'm in the smoke and a bit peckish...

What's the difference between Jamie Oliver and a cross-country run?
