PH Economic forum?

Seeing as all everyone is doing lately is going on about the economy of the world and how we're all doomed, surely PH could make a new forum specifically for it instead of the P&P?

or should it all be moved to the business forum?

I thought this as well but realised that it would almost make sense to have a current affairs/politics forum that would encompass this sort of thing and leave the P&P for general frippery and nonsense. You know, pictures of cats etc...

This is getting stupid. People moan about the lowering of standards of debate in P & P and that it's all tits and nonsense. Maybe that's because all the intelligent topics have been hived off into their own forums.

I dont come to P&P to read about politics and money, if I wanted to do that i'd probably head for the Financial Times (not that I want to do that). So i believe its best to put it somewhere else, like the bottom of the page.

Is been clearly seen that by splitting many forums into sub forums that they die a death.

Much of the PH demographic are interested in both boobies AND banks.

My personal view is: I wouldn't ever come into the P+P if it weren't for sensible and interesting threads like the finance ones.

As a PH Mod: It'd be a nightmare - P+P would degenerate even further.

P&P is for non motoring chat about whatever you like (within reason )

Therefore current affairs stay in here, or we'd have to create a new forum for every single discussion.

Economy is important to most of us, and the thread titles show you what to expect if you click- you make the choice whether you want to, or not.

I like it here, I can pop out to chat about cars in GG and can learn stuff and read funny things in one place.

It would get far too confusing switching between forums all the time, and I am sure like me a lot of people learn stuff here.
