Korea - good place to buy a digital camera?

I'm off to Korea tomorrow and, what with it being an electronics behemoth, thought it might be a good place to buy a cheap, good digital camera. Nothing flashy or SLR-ish, just something better than my phone cam.
Anyone been to Seoul before? Can you recommend areas/places to go? Any tips? Or is it easier to buy one at home (in the UAE)?

If there's a warranty issue it's a bit tricky taking it back to Korea.

I was in Seoul earlier this year and bought a digi camera as I had stupidly left my one at home.
I went to the electronics district and found prices are pretty much exactly the same as here. Koreans are really big on cameras, phones, miniature digital tvs and oddly, Nintendo DS's. But in this global economy, prices are just as competitive in your local Argos as Korea.
