GT5 online racing - I must be getting old but....

I can't find the option to race online. Only downloaded the game last night and I've yet to race online. I've been theough the options but can't find it? Do you have to finish all three racing classes to access it.

The online symbol is between GT-TV and Rankings if your's is missing or not illuminated then i would say yes you have to complete the race series to get online. Although i've look in the manual and it says nothing about having to do so.

You have to get to S class to unlock the tuning and setup menu anyway, which is essential for online racing, have fun

Looks like I needed to download the software update? Seemed strange that I'd just downloaded the game from Sony and then I had to download the extra software update??

Anyway, I've now been online in an M3 - great fun!!!
