Speak to Eric The Brave regarding shipping from the US as he is offering a consolidated shipping service.

You could try Dart, Claremont or possibly Geoff Jeal over here for a block.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I am taking the top end of my '78 off next weekend to rebuild. I would be interested to compare notes etc when you decide what you are going to do...

Thks to Nige re the shipping reference. Call me if I can be of any assistance

PSSST ,I also have this illness its called more bhpsyndrome,a lot of the guys on here have it as well but they wont admit it,,,the voices tell me a big block could go quite easily into your bay they also tell me if you get a sturdy unit NoS could be fitted,,just some ideas to get the blood pressure racing

think ive already got the MoreBHPsymdrone
seeing as my engine is knackered, i may as well go for more power! but still trying to keep the car as orginal as possible of course

Hopefully will have one sorted soon, but if anyone knows anything, id be happy to except any advice or news etc, being a new corvette owner

Another source for engines&parts are "Real steel"they always advertise complete turnkey motors and perfomance or stock parts,,i think they are over at the Staines area and they have been going for some years now ,they specialise in chevy and rover V8s.

Real Steel are worth checking. They do the ZZ4 engine which is a popular engine for C3's & I think they may also sell 383 strokers?
Also have a look at Summit www.summitracing.com/
They sell all sorts of stuff from blocks, short blocks, long blocks, etc up to complete engines.

Go to AbleEngines.com. They seem to offer a Chevy 350 for $995; I can't find if that's for a short block, a long block, or a crate engine.
