Switzerland, mountains... it's supposed to snow all the time isn't it?

We had a (potentially) paint work damaging hailstorm here in Lancashire yesterday bracketed by bright sunshine and all before teatime on the village cricket pitch, where they didn't stop playing, the brave souls...

Two chaps in the outfield were heard complaining about cold fingers though, and not being able to catch the ball if one of the batsmen actually hit it that far...

at least you could get your skis out...

errr no.....glaciers don't fully melt but it does rain!!

Certainly the weather yesterday afternoon was very odd in Oxfordshire - sunshine and blue skies one minute, then a hail storm, then back to sun, and another hail storm.... WTF?

Sounds like the summer season has been pretty good this year (skiing in Europe that is, not sunbathing in blighty). Let's hope that translates into the winter too.
