Being let down by a very good friend
Discussion
Anyone else had this? You have a really good friend, who you trust like a brother, and it transpires that there were things going on behnd your back. I still like the guy, and really feel for him, but I'm just gutted and disappointed. It could easily cause me to not want close friends any more but that would be wrong.

Sorry to hear that, Steve. Few of us always live up to expectations.Yup - nothing surer that most people will let you down at some point. And it's not always intentioned.
Everyone does, no-one is perfect, but we (the royal we) tend to have high expectations, put people on pedestals and then get disapointed.
T'would be a better place if we just took people as we find them.
