Currently all my worldly outdoorsy/garden related/ tool-like items are stored in the garage, but looking into the possibility of moving it all into a seperate storage facility. However there will be quite a lot of valuable stuff in there so looking for a secure storage option.

I think a garden shed would be too easy to break into, been looking at things like the below link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8x6-STEEL-METAL-SHED-8-x-6-B...

Anyone have any ideas of reasonable priced, secure alternatives?
-Preferably one that an insurance company wouldn't mind insuring about £10k worth of bikes and tools in.

Jimmie: "Now let me ask you a question, Jules. When you drove in here, did you notice a sign out in front that said, "Secure garden storage"?"
Jules: "Jimmie..."
Jimmie: "Answer the question! Did you see a sign out in front of my house that said "Secure garden storage"?"
Jules: "Naw man, I didn't."
Jimmie: "You know why you didn't see that sign?"
Jules: "Why?"
Jimmie: "'Cause storin' secure gardens ain't my fkin' business!"

I'd love a 60ft underground Nazi bunker. However seeing as there isn't one here, I doubt the council would be too quick to approve planning...

m4tt, those sheds are really flimsy. Any determined 9 stone bag head could boot the door in in seconds,

Dig large hole in ground.

Drop 2" of concrete in the bottom.

Using boards build 4" thick walls by pouring concrete.

Finally secure with a 6" steel door hydraulically actuated of course.

This is Pistonheads - Sheds Matter!

Thats what I feared. A container I think would be out of the question as there is no vehicle access to the garden, so short of hiring a f*cking big crane it would be pretty un-feasible, but in principle a fantastic idea. Any idea how much the tiny ones go for?

Might have to whack out some bricks and mortar and see what I can build!
