Sorry if this buried elsewhere. I was surprised to see him at Singapore, headset on but not in Ferrari fatigues, I thought he had been effectively pushed out?

What is his role now?

That was stated when I mentioned it on the gp thread during the race, but he is no longer in that role. According to news items in March he stepped down, but did retain a board seat and some responsibilities. I hadn't spotted him on the box during any of the races so far this year though.

He was effectively "pushed out" but retained a role. In Singapore his role was "last man on the green button" at the pitstops!! LOL

Recent events have illustrated just how strong the Todt/Brawn/Schumi combination was. I bet there are many who would turn the clock back if they could.

The bloke could have his pick of jobs. Tremendas success at both Peugeot and Ferrari should mean that half of the paddock would be falling over themselves to get to him.

His success at Peugeot is tainted with the knowledge that he cheated whilst he was there.

You can take a rough guess what the rest of the world thinks about his activities at Ferrari too.

I've been pondering that one too in light of the continuing pisspoor performance at BAR and came to a rather different conclusion.

I believe it's a lot easier to be a master strategist if your driver can pull an extra second a lap out every time you ask him. To be fair to Ross I think he offered the same observation a few years back.

Is Ferrari any worse for their leaving? The driving is but I don't think the errors are any worse than they were before.

There may turn out to be a Mrs Todt, but, if I am not mistaken, that Asian chick with whom Todt was often seen, in the days when he was often seen, emphatically denied to the press that they were engaged.
