A question for the anoraks:

I need to replace the pedal rubbers on my 3000M but due to a lack of part numbers / clues, am uncertain as to their origin.

Any suggestions welcomed!

read Section 5, Page 9 of "All you wanted to know about TVR 3000M's but were afraid to ask" says '15586, Pedal Rubber'

There are probably also 'experts' here that will know what other cars they were from and who has some that they'd swap for green folding stuff..

Anorak's are only interested in collecting numbers in their little books biggrin

This is a good place to look for TVR parts and alternative sources.

Or the same price as a TVR specialist. How many pence do you have to save to buy from a TVR specialist who needs to eat like the rest of us in preference to feeding an American corporation. The few pence you save will pale into insignificance when the value of your car falls through the floor because there is no specialist support.

When I said "This is a good place to look for TVR parts and alternative sources" I meant sources as in the cars that they were fitted to, as opposed to where to buy. I'll try to be more exact next time.

As the bare pedals are rectangular and measure 30mm x 67mm, I imagine Triumph rubbers will fit. From what I remember of attempting this many years ago is that it can be taxing - is there a trick to it?

In lieu of wrestling, cut the two back bottom corners.
