buying lenses in Canada

[Triumph Coupe]

I'm off to canada in a week or so. Are lens prices about the same as they are in the US? How much of a saving should I expect?

Anyone got any ideas?

I was thinking of getting a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 EX DG or maybe if I am feeling flush the Canon L 24-105mm (and if I think I can get away without the GF going potty over the cost)

I just bought a system from them.
Prices are about the same everywhere.
