Xbox 360 steering wheels

Ok, now I've got an Xbox 360 Im going to have to look out for another wheel ( unless there is a way to get the G25 to work with it?)

so whats the best wheel to get with a 360 or is there only the microShaft wireless jobby available.

and is it any good?

I've got the Mircosoft Wireless one and I have to say it is by no means "jobby"!

The Force Feedback is tremendous, especially on Forza and would definately recommend it!

I've seen that before.
Looks like i'll have the G25 for the PC and the 911 wheel for the 360 and PS3 when I end up buying one!

More like the G25 for PC and PS3, and the 911 for the xbox. Microsoft uses a proprietry controller code for the 360 (XID), which is why the only option in FFB wheels atm is the dreadful first party effort, and why no other usb wheels will work on it. :/

Having to use that craptacular MS wheel ruined forza 2 for me. GT4 went against forza 1 with a better wheel (the dfp), and that wheel still easily surpasses the "current gen" effort from microsoft. In fact, the GT3 wheel (the original driving force, or force gt) had all of the same issues as the NEW MS FFB wheel (lots of shaft play, limp-wristed ffb, "soft" paddles, SOFT pedals, and a common centering issue).

I had an MS FFB wheel in 2000, the sidewinder ffb, and it is a technological tour-de-force compared to the new wheel. It had an optical steering pot, much less shaft play, direct paddles, and a pedal design that beat the logitech wheels until the G25.

Microsoft really dropped the ball when the non-ffb equipped forza went up against GT4 and the DFP, but to make the same mistake twice... that's beyond my comprehension!
