So he is defending his choice of driving up the pitlane the wrong way. This coming from one of the very first drivers to criticise Lewis over the Spa incident.

This is the second (After Massa's pit exit a couple of races ago) incident that was potentially dangerous (read stupid decision) that's resulted in a fine rather than a race or points affecting penalty.

Now I think that's fair enough, in both cases it could have caused a collision but it didn't, so I'm happy to go along with the idea that stupid moves that cause no actual harm just get a fine.

Until the next time a driver does this who isn't in a Ferrari or a member of the GPDA of course

Wasn't it him who did the same thing at the first chicane at Monza, when he spun. Drove the wrong way and took the run off (old track) back onto the circuit.

If you just have monetary penalties for these incidents, they will continue to happen until there is a serious accident. 10kEuros is chump change to these boys.
