OK, I'm all pissed off at work, I should be on my way to pick up my new car in a few hours but I'm not and I've lost out on my visit home for september. I'm tired and thought you lot could cheer me up.
What's good with life? Have you just come back from a tasty luch? Got a decent weekend planned? Has the other half done something nice?

There's enough moaning threads on here. Let's turn this one round and make it a good old list of positives. Big or Small.

It's an utterly gorgeous day, going on holiday in two weeks, I've just eaten a fairly standard but enjoyable lunch, I am listening to metal and, given that my life is not yet half over (touch wood), that means I should have more than half of my lifetime's sexual experiences still to come.

I started to get shot of a lot of my 'toys' a year or so back when it was clear things were going to get tough. (If only I'd known how.)

Decided that the time freed-up would go into something 'cheap and easy to enjoy' and started running. Fecking hard work at first, because everything hurt like a bd, but now the wife and I run before b'fast a few mornings each week and I really enjoy it. Costs me a new pair of runners every six to nine months and not much else.

ETA and I reckon I'd still be able to afford to do enjoy this, even if I was on the dole.

The sun has just burnt through the fog.
That jet man flying across the channel.

Worming tablets and flea killing chemicals are on my 'things to do on the way home' list.

The other things include showing pictures of rusty rear arches to a body shop and getting an estimate, and hooning on a B road instead of the motorway (in a 75 bhp astra)

It's a nice friday, i'm no longer oncall so that makes tonight a beer night. Sold the Clio and the cash is in the bank. Cerb is running great. Had a dentist appointment which was the first one in 4 years and i need nothing done.
