Cliffy, no it wasn't me.
By the way there are too many Dicks on this site...... and at least two of us share the same initials (RR). Therefore, to avoid confusion and in view of my success at the weekend, I wish to be known as "Lady's Choice" from now on (but not in front of Jeannie please). Ta.

In answer to Martyn's question (ignoring the predictable responses to my new handle), as Chris has run out again he obviously doesn't mind the embarrassment. Pete Campbell has had the same problem which Frosts told him to monitor. My fuel gauge has dropped from half to zero once but I didn't run out. Frosts have implemented the factory fix on mine which has something to do with increasing the voltage passing through the senders (no doubt te51cle will elaborate). However Frosts have also asked me to monitor but I will probably continue to fill up every 200/250 miles regardless, as I really can't be bothered to risk running out.
For those who haven't a clue what's going on, there appears to be a problem with the additives in our fuel which puts a coating on the fuel senders on a C5 causing the fuel gauge to misbehave and plummet without warning. Next thing you know you may run out of petrol. Nothing's perfect - not even a vette.
