LOL with business cards I see.
Around 44 TVR's in the car park - club parking had room for 15 so we were a little spaced out around the place. A great turnout and blimey wasn't that Tuscan racer quick.
A great effort from the drivers which was appreciated from all the spectators.
Pics later when I've gone through them all

Excellent day's racing. It was great to see so many TVR's not just on the track but in the car park. When walking around the course there was a buzz of excitement as the TVR's took to the hill - every last one attacked the hill ...and yes, that Tuscan racer went like a rocket.
Hats off to everyone who went.
eta. Zumbruk, do you get along to the Herts & Beds meetings?

Took my son, roof off from Fulham at 07.30, what a fantastic drive, through the Cotswold's back roads. Even with the Thames valley fog at the start. Fantastic day, great weather, I hadn't been to Prescott since the sixties, what a mistake on my part. Will certainly be back next year for more meetings. If only to see my son's expression in the Buggati centre on site. Gobsmacked doesn't cover it. As for the Hill, just outstanding setting and drivers.

From time to time, yes. Sadly, they quite often clash with sprints. I think the next one is the 19th October, which is the day after Castle Coombe, but since I'm not doing that one, I'll try and get along. Always assuming it isn't slashing down with rain...Hats off to everyone who went.

It was a great day out, though. Prescott is one of my favourite venues when the sun shines. My heart sank as we arrived (at 07:30) since it was cold, dank and foggy, but the weather picked up through the day, after a 1 hour delay to allow the fog to clear. I had a moment's panic as I was eating my fry-up in the restaurant as I spotted a white wedge with numbers on it apparently on the hill, but then realised it was the huge convoy of spectators arriving! Thanks for coming, guys, it was great to see you.
I hope you all noticed Pete Watson's Griff gracing the front cover of the programme! There's a "cockpit eye" view of what it's like to drive the hill at speed from Adrian's Griff 520 here;

Although I noticed that one or two of the convoy runners should have numbers on and been in the paddock rather than the car park!!!!
The next event is Debden Airfield in Essex on the 5th October. (http://www.hertscountyaac.co.uk/) Debden is, how shall I say, a little more downmarket than Prescott but we have 13 entrants. Again, spectators are most welcome. Please come and say hello.
