I read one in the paper today about a millionaire who moved out of his £5m? home and let the bank repossess it because he believed it was haunted! hehe

Um he made and lost £150m before going into Banking.

Sounds like a rather high risk type of business person to me.

Seems a bit strange. "before going into banking". Well, I've tried running a dotcom business. I'll have a bash at the banking lark, now. Just how difficult can it be?

Very tricky, especially when you are fined a record amount for misleading the stock market.

interweb story on him said:
Mr Bonnier has a colourful history. As chief executive of Scoot.com, he saw his personal wealth rise as the website’s shares soared. But when the bubble burst, Scoot.com’s value collapsed, falling from a high of £2.5 billion to less than £50 million.

He bounced back and went on to make millions on the London trading floors but was fined £290,000 in 2004 by the Financial Services Authority, then a record amount, for misleading the stock market.

This is what they've been waiting for, everybody on housepricecrashdotcom will be forming a queue to buy it for a tenner.

hehe

I only mentioned it due to its' exceptional nature. One suspects he was probably on-course to lose it whatever happened. He's evidently not all that great with large pots of cash, is he?

At least he had the sense not to shoot himself and burn it down.

He'll be back with a book and TV soundbites. How I made and lost my fortune.

I read that at the weekend! lollers - he had no alternative other than to stop paying the mortgage when the 'hauntings' started!

You're smoking crack, if they wait for a couple of months I am 100% sure they will be able to scoop it for a fiver, even then I think it's still very risky . . .

At 38..Blimey. Give the chap a pat on the back. I can just see him shrug his shoulders, rub his hands together and make/lose another £150 million.

Greedy git.
Mind you as said above he'll probably bounce back & cause some other poor sod to go bust at his expense with him.
