My local garden centre already has christmas trees, cards, lights, and a few 'frosty the snowmen' singing christmas tunes.

It's September FFS!

Excellent. So that will be another 11 before any normal, sane person needs to start thinking about getting excited about it then.

Asking the owner of that red Calibre to put a small bow on the bonnet doesn't count.

You know she won't let you.

Went to Boots in Southampton on the weekend and i was at a loss to where everything had gone.

I asked where was the products i was looking for was to a girl sorting through aftershave packaging. She appoligsed and said sorry we're moving everything around for our Xmas displays.. im not sure where we moved those?

Damit!

I suppose with sales so low they need to start early to get people in the mind set to start buying.

I honestly think the shops are going to shoot themselves in the foot with this early Christmas selling. Maybe not this year or next, but in 10 or so I think we'll see a major disenchantment with the holiday. They are sucking most of the specialness out of it and I think they will reap what they sow.

Hey i said excited about it, not prepared.

We have a few boxes of presents stored away at all times as we tend to get a fair few in the sales after the last one, saves a fortune!

Christmas is cancelled this year due to the economic conditions....unless it snows. In fact when was the last proper white christmas we had? i.e. actually snowing on the day?
