PS3 + GT5P + GT TV Update Help
Discussion
Hope someone can help. Finally taken the plunge and bought a PS3 today. It came with GT5.
In the GT5 menu there's an option for TV when I click on it, it tells me my date and time settings are wrong, which they arent. Then tells me I need an update. Ive said yes to the update but it fails every time. Tried it 5 times now.
The main system updates downloaded ok and anything out of the PS Store seems fine. Its just in GT5 that it seems to fail.
Is this a problem with the game or am I missing something obvious?
(PS Its nice to finally see what my HD TV is actually capable of...

)There are a lot of things that have been added to GT5P since release specII update, Gran Tourismo TV, new intro's and car handling characteristic,s are a few that spring to mind, it could just be the amount to download.
They usually take a couple of trys but 10 sounds more like a problem to be honest.
have you set the time via the internet or manually? If manually set with the internet this may help.
How far has the download bar got to? once it gets to 50% it usually flies to 100% in a couple of seconds (i.e if it's at 40% it's nearly done)
