I was clearing out a load of old school paraphernalia last night, and, whilst it's amusing and interesting to see what I used to learn and how I used to write (a damn sight better than now actually), we can't keep everything we ever do.

I've decided to keep a couple of notebooks I've scribbled stupid cartoons in, some that remind me of school mates, some books that I grew up reading and a couple of stories I wrote that I don't really want to lose.

So, what have you kept from your formative years to remind you of your childhood, school and otherwise? Any maths books daubed in the doodlings of your group of school chums that evoke memories of simpler times?

I've still got the shirt I wore on my last day, emblazoned with loads of signatures, rude messages, and some egg and flour stains all over it....

I've got a shoe box (rolleyes) that's filled with various items from my childhood; get well cards, post cards, photos, favourite watch that had all the world's flags on the strap, tooth that fell out, bag of hair from when I grew it stupidly long and decided to cut it for charity (+£100 for the Tsunami Appeal), tickets from legendary shows/events, and all sorts of things like that.

I've still got a few toys in mum & dad's loft, my shirt signed by everyone from the last day of school, a st-load of Max Power, Car & Conversions and a couple of Retro magazines and probably a load of other crap if I could ever be bothered to get up there and have a look.

My mum's still got a load of her old school books, all wraped in lovely 70's wallpaper.
