We've seen a few ridiculous headlines in recent times but this surely has to be the most absurd.

'Headed for Government'! I can only say 'bwaahahahaaa!'

At least they've realised that people are fed up with high taxes, but it still won't work.

The best ever has to be that football headline years ago:

"Super Cally Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious"

How about the true story of the policeman who decided to change sex. His force behaved impeccably and kept his job open for him. In the spirit of openness, they duly announced this fact to the press, hoping that it would show them to be sensitive employers. To their dismay, the headline for the story the next day was "No Knobby Bobby Keeps His Jobby".
