No they didn't!!!

Can any police officers on here recall a time when they swooped?

I only ask because i'm reading the front of a local paper, where there had been some kind of altercation last night at 3am. I would imagine they drove?

If the po-lice use helicopters all the time, instead of wasting time directing ground units to the scene, whey don't they fit them all with M60's and end the problem once and for all? I'd love to fly over a council estate shouting "get some, get some" as I strafed gangs of chavs and pikeys running for their lives in their Air Max 90's apocalypse now style shoot

Well they certainly "swooped" in the Iranian Embassy back in the eighties.

I know it was special forces but one of them might have been police.

Look at most of the BIB and there figures "Swooped" would not be something I would think that most of them could do !!

If police swoop, they nab you. Then you'll probably be stitched up like a kipper and the beak'll bang you up and send you down for a long stretch of porridge.

I actually read something like that in the Hindustani Times while in India in the 80's, anachronistic metaphors are wonderfully evocative.
