Best gangster movies

[lazyitus]

Lets have some nominations.

For me, I particularly enjoyed The Krays and the Godfather movies but I haven't seen many others.

What would you recommend as a good watch ?

Don't say Rolex, Breitling or Casio etc etc

[TrevorH]

Goodfellas - great movie, great soundtrack.

[TankRizzo]

Scarface or Goodfellas. Both brilliant.

[JamesM]

Lock Stock, Snatch and Layer Cake are all my personal favorites.

[Mc Lovin]

The Business.

Lock stock and snatch where great but badly over hyped and im bored of them

[The Curn]

I enjoyed Casino.

[Blue Meanie]

Donnie Brasco, and Carlito's way...

[Cara Van Man]

I liked Gangs of New York.

Daniel Day Lewis plays a nasty piece of work.

[The Black Duke]

Goodfellas and Layer Cake are some of my favourite as well as the God Father series.

[Digga]

Saw an Enron corporate promotional the other day.

[odyssey2200]

Long Good Friday

Pulp Fiction

Hello chap

My nominations are (in no particular order).....

Goodfellas
The Business
Casino
Scarface
King of New York
Sexy Beast

[OllieBirmingham]

I thought The Business was quite watcheable, like most of Nick Love's stuff actually. Casino and Goodfellas are both A*, as is Scarface. Layer Cake is also a fantastic watch....
