Here's a bizarre thought. As each bank successively goes tits up and is bought by the taxpayer, that means that the people effectively own the wealth. Then they can sack the halfwits in Westminster and take over. Maybe?

How can we sack the government? Gordo is surviving at the moment when an increasing number of MPs of his own party are calling for a leadership contest.

I believe that governments are the servents of the public, not their masters, something labour seem to have forgotten... But how can we get rid of them?

In basic terms that is what a democracy should mean. But the rules that underpin this mean that we can't all have a voice in the middle of a term of office.
