Sticky pressure relief valve

It never rains always pours fix something then onto next.
Ive allways had good oil pressure 60 PSI running and revving 40 psi tick over. Suddenly 60 psi cold 40 psi hot 26 psi ticking over.

I think its the pressure relief valve stuck. But never heard of it on a serp cover.

Any thoughts.
