Hi there, I'm currently looking for a camera bag preferably a shoulder style bag such as this http://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/p-national-geograp...

It must be able to hold a 400D (hopefully a 40D/50D in the future) and one or two lenses upto around the size of a 100-400mm L and one or two smaller lenses such as a nifty fifty or 18-55. A compartment suitable for a Macbook would also be a bonus but not essential as would one or two other spaces e.g. for water.

Budget is limited although I don't want to have to buy twice and design is preferably not something that shouts LOOK AT MY EXPENSIVE GEAR and suitable for traveling in South America and poorer areas (hence the appeal of the look of the nat geographic one).

Anyone used any bags like this or got any other favourites.

Many Thanks smile

Also have a look at the Lowepro Nova range.

I've just got a Nova 1 AW, at bit on the small side for you, but they come with a lifetime guarantee.

And you can see why the quality is superb. Also, ti come with a built in weather cover.

I'd recommend a Billingham without question. Have a look at cambags.com for advice.

Rather liking the look of the Crumpler Daily L although it is a bit pricey. Where sells these cheap or any cheaper knockoffs?

Anyone used a DOMKE F-5XC? Looks rather tasty and a bargain from the USA on ebay compared to the UK price on Amazon.

Samsonite to great camera bags, ive got two!

the large one i have is currently holding a 450d with batter grip, fish eye lens, 75-300lens, 50lens, 18-55lens, a load of cleaning stuff, batteries, chargers, manuals and still has room for another large lens (hopefully a 100-400 fingers crossed) and about 3 smaller lenses, all in their own little padded compartment.

its got shoulder strap AND comes with clip on backpack straps, so you can carry it round with no bother.

they have a handy tripod holder on them too so my rather heavy tripod also sits on for the ride.
