Second Labour MP sacked from party position within 24 hours for daring to suggest a Leadership Election. The genie is out of the bottle. He'll be gone by November.

It won't happen, too much power for the one man band that is Brown.

I don't want him in power, but nor the Conservatives - so whats the answer?

I personally believe that the country is currently in a horrid state, its going to take years to improve and a party with balls who are prepared to make decisions that will improve the UK.

Interesting that the Deputy Chair can be fired out of hand, but it needs 70 MPs to submit a form they're not allowed to be issued with, counter-signed by Elvis and Lord Lucan, to even begin the process of getting rid of Gordon.

I fear not - they'll disappear sideways into various quangos, 'think-tanks', equality commissions, something to do with the Olympics, possibly Controller of Radio 4 - all on vast salaries naturally.

Power ladies MBH? Sanctimonious harridans more like. There must be a few fishwife vacancies in Grimsby they could apply for, nu labia's old trouts working with slimy scaly organisms would remind them of Cabinet meetings. Might also remind them that old labia destroyed our fishing industry, later cemented by the useless UN.

Nobody in history has connived and politicked and plotted as much as Gordon Brown to get into number 10. He has been a Machiaveli at the heart of British politics stabbing his fellow senior labour politicians in the back for over ten years to get the keys for that house.

And nobody in history has been so instantly inept and incompetent once inside number 10. Headless chicken understates the situation. We, effectively, now have no government.

The reason is simple. Gordon is a walking personality defect. He has chips on both shoulders and zero interpersonal skills. And, metaphorically, he is drowning in his own ineptitude.

So, ironically, this man who plotted for so long to get into number 10 is now the most unhappy person to occupy the house. The term manic depressive understates the case.

No the fishermen destroyed our fishing industry by catching all the bloody fish

If you want to blame politicians then blame them for letting fishermen catch too much fish

Just as Oliver Cromwell took over when the monarch got out of control, is it time that the monarch took over now that Parliament is out of control?

I have not got any numbers but i am guessing that today the tax burden is higher than it has ever been in this country (counting stealth taxes). The MP's live lavish lives on "expenses" with virtually no accountability to anyone but them selves. They also decide their own pay. I know of no other employees that have this option, because it is rightfully absurd to give employees that decision.

As far as democracy goes how can a Welsh assembly that only 1 in 4 Welsh people asked for be democratic? The whole thing was set up by Labour in a Labour strong hold and costs an obscene amount of money to run.

I think in time some extremist party is going to come out of the woodwork such as the BNP and set the country on course for meltdown, but when mainstream politicians are not serving the country and are instead serving them selves, people will resort to drastic actions to get a job done.
