I remember reading in Formula One magazine (The original one in the 80's) that Patrick Tambay had a permanent "call to action in the trouser department" and "mid-race spillage" 
when he first drove an F1 car. That was a Theodore if I recall correctly - who knows what the poor chap would have done had he driven a decent car!
