Nikon d80 US price

[Ianeire]

Chaps, I'm looking at picking up a Nikon d80 from Santa this year. I'll probably pick up the kit lens and take it from there. I see that retail prices over here seem to be in and around the €650/£550 mark over here.

Would anyone have any idea of the US retail price of the same package? SWMBOs brother is heading over in October and could pick it up there if savings were to be had.

Much obliged,
Ian

That much? I fear you can get it a lot cheaper from the likes of jacobs etc. Depends on which lens I suppose. Do know someone that might be selling one though ;o)

599.99 US Dollar = 340.936 British Pound

wow! a bargain!

But, if you look at the kit the OP says is around £550 in the UK, and at current US prices $900 + 8% sales tax = $972 which is....

.... £554.48

So unless the £ / $ rate gets much better, don't bother.

and if you buy it in the uk you will get a warranty too !
