Hi all, just a quick mail to make you aware of an event organised by the Surrey region of the Classic Corvette Club. The cruise is taking place on Sunday 28th September. I have placed details of the route and timings below. If you are coming from a direction that doesn't cover our route, we would still be happy to see you there. Admission prices for the museum are also
included below. Hope to see you there.

Surrey CCCUK Autumn Cruise
Sunday 28th September 2003
to
Heritage Motor Centre .Gaydon .Warwickshire

Route & Timings

Rykers car park (at bottom of Box Hill on the A24) Leave 08.30
via Dorking, Guildford, A31 Hogs Back, A331 through Farnborough to M3, arrive

Fleet Services Southbound at app 09.10 Leave at 09.30
leave M3 at J6, A339 to Newbury, A34, arrive

Chieveley Services (M4 J13) at app 10.00 Leave at 10.20
A34 to Junc 9 of M40, leave at Junc 10, arrive

Cherwell Valley Services at app 11.00 Leave at 11.30
M40 north to Junc 12 arriving at Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre at about 12.00.


Attractions

entrance to the museum is £6.00 per person.
Pre booked tickets available at each stop
go-karting at £3.50 for about 8 minutes.
Driving event
off road in a Landrover, £3.00 for about 15 mins.
Driven event

All are welcome, the more the merrier!

I will meet you at Chievley,i fancy the Go-carting,,just hope this weather keeps going.

Yeah, we will be going. Don't think many are though. Looks like I wll be the only one from Kent.

Just got back after a weekend in France - 32C, empty roads, no traffic...........

Sounds like you had a good weekend,ime looking forward to the go-karts on sunday,its been a long time since i had a go on them,probably meet everyone at Cheivley.

At this time, there are in excess of 20 who say that they will be attending. There are usually some more who come but dont let us know. As always, the weather will play a part in the numbers on the day, so lets pray for sunshine.

We'll meet at Rykers Cafe, Boxhill. Who else will be meeting there? I guess Richard will be there.

Think I might have found the cause of the rattle behind my dash. Some sort of suppressor box was tucked in behind the radio and A/C displays. Looks like it was insercurely mounted and was knocking into the frame. I've covered it in foam sponge and tucked it away again so here's hoping for a quiet cruise up to Gaydon.

Hi Steve why don't you go straight down the M4 and meet at Chieveley at 10 ?
