I have got a major case of impatientitis now we are over double expected renovation duration. Just to see what you think

1) How long to plumb in a radiator if the pipes are there and you just need to attach it? And a hot water tank ? again pipes are there. And an oil boiler - pipes are there. We have several radiators to go in and some pipework to be renewed where it was cut off (and nicked). I reckon for the whole job boiler and tank - 2 weeks (team of 2-3)??

2) Painting - entire 5 bed house every wall and ceiling - professional job - 2-3 weeks??? (behind radiators and some fidley bits already done). No kitchen yet to paint around or other appliances. Only thing to paint around is 2x bathrooms

I won't depress myself by the list of other jobs. Worst thing - can't do anything myself

The plumbing if it is as easy as you make out 1 week tops

The decorating all depends on whether it is new plaster/woodwork if all new then a team should do it in a week if not then its the old how long is a piece of string

Can understand the not being able to do the plumbing part but why can't you do any of the painting ?

thanks - yes all new plaster.

physically I could paint - 10lbs of vomiting baby makes it hard especially as she had breathing difficulties. Probably being precious but don't think it would do her much good.
