For an office of 120 people... Food to be delievered

It's been a tradition in our office that everyone buys something on their birthday, usuallycosts about £60 for enough pies/pizzas/cakes for everyone.

I'm getting bored of the usual choices, anyone got a better idea?

cake is good. . .

i would have said pizza, but for a place to cook that many most will be cold before reaching you.

What about something like subway as they cater for large numbers . . .

What a terribly unimaginative and predictable list. frown

How about some English food, other than pies? A big roast rib of beef so folk could help themselves to slice after slice? Devilled kidneys? Venison stew and dumplings? My sister Dolly's Apple Upsidedown Cake? There's loads choice than that dreary list of stuff riddled with saturated fat, MSG and food colouring.

You can't beat chicken drumsticks and mini sausage rolls - oh and black pudding.

Cubes of cheese and pickled onions on a cocktail stick, that kind of stuff.

M&S Lunch to go has some good platters, and can cover everything on your list bar the pizza.

Did that for a party the other week, roasted over an open fire on a makeshift wooden spit.

The only downside was that is took 8 hours so may not be too good for an office party, it did taste amazing though with the whole pig covered in crackling and rubbed with honey.
