Do you mean the area in which you live, or the actual property?

Edit: you beat me to it...

House? Street? Town? County?

Ok - seen your edit now - still makes little sense though - what is your definition of 'area'?

I voted proud.

But that is only that I live in a lovely little private road in a brilliant 20 house community. I don't think much of the actual town hehe

Sure but you're gonna run out of space under your patio soon.

I live out in the country, with a house I converted myslef (from a steading or "barn" to you englanders) and a big garden/meadow/woods/paddock. I love it and am proud to have achieved it.

Maybe not exactly the same thing as being proud of the area I live in?

I went for Proud in the end although it's a difficult one. Bath is a beautiful city, a big tourist attraction and a World Heritage Site and yet there are so many little things about it that could be better if the council weren't such imbeciles (IMO).

Yes, I'm quite proud of where I live.

I'm glad to say that most people who live there are also, without that it might become a sthole like many other places.

It's ok they seem to be breeding over here. When they drop the sprogs I'll be sure to post them back to your area.

I'm proud of my home County (Shropshire) for some reason. Not my home town or Wolves where I currently live though. No idea why.

it's all a bit vague. Immediate area... well it's one of the best in the city and is really quite nice, so although "proud" isn't the word I'd use, "pleased" is certainly usable.

Wider Area...

It's Southampton, what do you think! It's a st hole only slightly peaked in it's sttyness by the "other" city in Hampshire just down the coast. But then they shag fish there.

That's a pic of my road and some of the neighbours. This is where I get out for my pre-brekkie slog each morning. The village is a pretty good place to live and (say it quietly) it's only 15mins by taxi to Satfford station and 1hr30 to Euston.

This it the village, and yes, I'm modestly prooud of it. (Till the council moves my caravan on anyway!)

I'm not implying or weighting this question but...

Why are you Proud?
No particular reason (or probably logical one) to be quite honest! The people, the tradition, the sporting heritage, just a little part of Ireland (largest county to be pedantic) and wants to be on its own! tongue out

Someday, someday we'll be granted or long sought after Peoples Republic of Cork and will be free from the shackles of bureaucratic Dublin rule! laugh

Looks like Cannock Chase to me mate biggrin

I'm actually in Stafford myself, about 200 metres from open grass and cows an stuff, but I have to cross a motorway to get there. frown
