Rubbish pics but how they came out just made me smile. Minding my own business I glance out into the back garden and there's a squirrel right at the door staring back. It was doing the usual hole digging and patting back afterwards. Presumably stock taking at the nut store? It was very alert though so I had to belly crawl into the other room to retrieve the camera by which time said squirrel was at the other end of the garden amongst the furniture. So instead of a fantastic head and shoulders portrait of a squirrel I ended up with these two pics:

Think I'll leave the camera on the tripod by the back door from now on!

Like the second one, it's almost like it's trying to do a mexican wave on its own
