Small independent high street garage/MOT centre attending to all makes of car have a vacancy for a mechanic/technician in the West Wickham/Bromley area of Kent.
Good rates of pay for the right candidate working a five day week.

Give me a call for a chat.

Phill, I know you said to call, but rather than call and feel I have wasted your time I thought I would ask here.

Is previous experience necessary(sp) or qualifications? Unfortunatley I have neither of these and the only experience I have is from home mechanics and helping at a mates garage every now and then. I am quite happy to get the spanners out and do the work mind and enjoy working on cars

Many Thanks

Andy

I need someone who is able to work on their own to a high standard. They should be capable of servicing and repairing cars which would include replacing brake and clutch components etc.
As for qualifications, not too bothered. The best mechanic I know is self taught but has a natural ability to understand mechanical and electrical items. Thats the sort of person I'm looking for.

As well as the position above, we are looking to take on another trainee. In an ideal world the candidate would have some knowledge of the workings of cars, but must have a natural ability to understand mechanical and electrical systems and want to progress. Day release college would be available but you would also learn a huge amount working alongside our other two mechanics.
As with our other vacancy, pay would be according to experience.

You can speak to me or Tony on 0208 777 6394 between 8.30 and 5.30 Monday to Friday, or email via my profile.

Phill.

Phill,

I could have sworn I replied to you response, but it would appear not, apologies for that.

I have just spoken with Tony a few minuites ago and hope to hear from you soon.

With regards to your inital position, although I would love to say I am your man, Ithink that may be stretching the truth a little. I am a competent person with the spanners and will happily undertake any job, but at times I still need guidance as there are things I am still learning.

Many thanks

Andy
