Tropic Thunder (the movie)

[Dodgey_Rog]

Saw this last week, a bloody hilarious movie, some excellent cameo's too. Robert Downey Jnr is amazing in this role.

Not sure when its hits the UK though. Caused some controversy over here because of its use of the word "retard". But still a bloody funny movie all the same, not laughed so hard in ages in the cinema.

Go see it!

You ruined it for everyone else now!!! But yes, excellent, changed my view of him totally now.

"What do you mean "You people".....?"

I lost count of the number of great send-ups. I would just love to know what Russell Crowe thinks of it all

I quite fancy seeing this. It looks like a film that is going to be made by the performance or Mr Downey Jr, like Iron Man. Would that be fair to say?

[thehawk]

I have to disagree, some funny moments but overall it was quite lame. Very disappointing.

[Technonotice]

you can watch it online already, really good quality surprisingly..

[GarC]

I went to a preview of this last night not really expecting to like it as I'm not a Ben Stiller fan.

I thought it was one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time.
Downey Jr and Tom Cruise stole the show. (I'm also not a fan of Cruise)

The fake trailers at the start were also very funny.

Dont worry, Jonathan Ross did that last night, Ben Stiller not impressed methinks

On that subject, is it me or does JR seem to use F's and B's for the sake of it, given his usual vocab skills?

(have to add, not offended, just find it a bit daft)

[Hedders]

He does it with the yanks to remind them they can swear on TV over here, I think.

[Jasandjules]

Will add it to my Might Watch it list them, ta.

[Killer2005]

Going to see this next weekend

Saw it the other night.

Have seen really mixed reviews but I liked it a lot.

I think its one of those films one could watch again and again and it would keep getting funnier!

Tom Cruise was awesome in it.
