The latest proposals from the FIA to the team managers has been put forward. I suggests the change of qualifying days to Saturday (low fuel runs to decide final qualifying) and the final qualifying with race fuel onboard on the Sunday just a couple of hours before the race. This will leave the Friday as a pure test day for teams who have chosen to run fewer test days outside race weekends (as Jordan, Renault, Toyota and Minardi have done this season).

This should mean that Race days will have more action on them and hopefull boost ticket sales although what Fridays will now be like will have to be seen.

Not too bad an idea really although if a driver plants it in the armco big time, they could risk missing the race unless the spare could be used.

Still think they should award points for grid position.
