Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before?

On my spyder, i've just replaced all the front light bulbs as some weren't looking too well. I've taken the car out twice since doing this, and yesterday when i was having a cleanup, i noticed that both the inside drivers and passenger bulbs have broken again. The black plastic connector was in tact but hanging off with two of the bulb terminals still in it.

The only thing i can think off, is that it's getting hit by the wheel when turning - but i've tried this and can't see it making contact, even when trying to apply some weight to make the shocks move.

Very weird.... I've just electrical taped the back of them up, to see if it show's any sign of rubbing on my next trip out.

Remember, it is not possible to simulate actual behaviour as the car would be driving and doing as you have done with the tape to create a 'witness' is the only easy way to tell.

On my GTR the bulb terminals themselves can be clipped by the wheel so you may have the same problem and need to do the same fix.
Take the female terminals out of the connector and bin the connector body, bend the male terminals on the bulb at right angles, fit the female terminals directly to the bent bulb terminals.
