BBC Weather says:
Meanwhile, Hurricane Ike is expected to reach the Bahamas by Sunday before entering the Gulf of Mexico next week. Currently a category three hurricane, with sustained winds of 115 mph. Ike's current track takes it across the Turks and Caicos Islands and southern Bahamas this weekend. Cuba and southern Florida are also on alert.
So I think it is expected to do a right turn at some point.

I'm a bit worried by Hannah - taking an overnight cross channel ferry on Weds night and the b1tch is heading towards the UK
You have no need to worry, she is due to disperse once hitting the Carolinas so the Channel should just be as choppy as normal! If your worried, try checking out the shipping forcast for the next week..... ok, best not.
