Track day tyres

Hi Chaps,

I am going to get a softer set of tyres more suitable for track days....does anyone have any experience or advice as to what works best....obviously some will have advantages over others in different conditions.

Everybody raves about michelin pilot sport cups, basically a road legal track tyre. Not much fun in the wet though, and I'm not sure how much they cost....

Don't know if any good for you (as not done a track day yet) but I use Toyo Tyres on my S3 for competing in the TVRCC Speed Championships (sprinting). With the correct pressures they are nice and sticky when warmed up & are fine for road use as well at slightly higher pressure.

Cost about £300 for a set of 4.
