Mrs Ted and I have got ourselves a Chimaera 450 again. It's been about 4 years since we had a TVR and I have to say it's great to be back. I'd forgotten just how much fun these cars are. A blast out the other evening (dry!) left me grinning from ear to ear.

It's good to be back biggrindriving

Practicalities of two small children put a temporary kybosh on ownership. Tried the Cerbera as an answer but it didn't work out. We're fortunate enough now that we can have one in addition to the practical cars.

congratulations .... I think your car needs the same initiation as mine had, You need to follow someone along a French motorway who has drank too much tequila the night before and watch them stick their head out the door and spray the front of the car with the previous nights liquid!!

I'm not sure if you'll remember that biggrin

congratulations thumbup

It speaks volumes about the Marque.... despite owning a fine looking GT3 ,you still want to add a Tivver to the stable smokin

Preaching to the converted here, but a TVR Does have soulfull qualities beyond those of a mass produced sports car.

Maybe it's the way they were originally built - by hand ,by people - or maybe it's just that they're fast, loud and scary hehe.

Either way, the Tiv Habit is a hard one to break thumbup.

It is a really nice example wink

To think, in exactly a years time it could be rolling off the ferry right now heading for Champagnole and driving nirvana for the following 8 days hehe
