Ive spent some time in South Afria in the past, and watched the Comrades marathon a few times, but this chap gives the best write up ive come accross of the event, makes very entertaining reading.

Friend of mine did Comrades this year (the uphill route, downhill next year) and said it was a great experience.

I've just read that, it's good.

I'm training for the Flora London next year, got my charity place with the BHF to sort out, only 2 grand to raise though, eek!

Never done anything like this before, wish me luck biggrin

The three phases of travel - as you get older and richer you move up the scale:

1) Run
2) Cycle
2a) Public transport
3) Drive
