Ignoring the protestations of all the weather chappies who seem to insist that we've had a typical British summer and its not all that bad, after all, its been fairly warm:

Well it ain't here, mateymcfishboy, it's chuffing freezing, windy, feels like December and certainly not early September:

Is it just me, or has somebody forgotten to put 50p in the Sun's meter today?; its sodding dark here, and certainly doesn't look like getting any nicer...

Anyone else feel cheated out of a summer (of any sorts)?

Someone I was speaking to this week said they had had a good summer and some sunshine.

I think I must have popped indoors for a crap when that happened as I have no recollection of such weather.

Oh its dark here in sunny West/North Yorkshire border :| Pissed it down all the way to work and looks absolutely bleeding dull outside. I just hope it floods now.

You fail to add that they're in a mental institute and have amnesia.

It's fking abysmal. I HATE IT. Depressing beyond all necessity.

I thought last year was a 'freak' bad year but it's taking the piss now.

Aside from the economic outlook, the weather has also helped ruin sports car prices in the classifieds.

Yep, depressing here, too. Mainly due to the fact that you just don't feel like going out, and I've just bought a new car, and don't want to drive it. C'mon sun! Please!

Chilly, wet and gloomy in Chesterfield.

If I didn't have to work I think I'd go back to bed. Looks like I can put my shorts away until next spring - if it comes.

It's the credit crunch causing this.
