+1

The phrase 'global warming' is fundamentally unsound. By definition it implies an increase in temperature on a worldwide scale. If that were the case then there would be less energy consumed for the purpose of heating, demand would fall and then so would prices. Given the rate at which energy bills are rising I can only conclude that the whole global warming thing is one huge steaming pile of horse sh*t.

Global Warming when it's hot.

Climate Change when it's pissing it down and cold.

Load of old tripe all the time!

The phrase "global warming" isn't accurate - its more like climate shifts.

Well, it was Global Warming according to the BBC when the summers were getting continually hotter.

They could have said Climate Shifts, the warm climate is shifting to the UK in summer months.

Now they haven't got any warmer, it's got a damn bit colder, there isn't any mention of GW or CC.. I wonder why..biggrin

Then sort it for him. It's for the good of the contry. I'll do a couple of hundred miles on the way to tesco. Every little helps.

The inner wing has some rather large rust holes in it, I started to weld a few of these up however it looks like its going to need a whole new inner wing which is a bh of a job to do! Range Rover down frown

On the upside he is buying a new one, a 4.6 V8 so it will burn even more fuel biggrin

Ahh, but the sea levels are still rising, not due to the Ice Caps melting, but due to all this bloody rain we've had.

Notice how the 'Green Brigade' have dropped the 'global warming' tag now & have renamed it 'climate change'.

Had to cancel a machine correction on an MX-5 tomorrow due to the weather.

I think that could possibly be the stupidest comment I have ever seen on PH.
