Someone please help rehome 2 cats...
Discussion
Friends of mine are going through a very bitter split, he is off to NZ tomorrow for good and she is acting like a child!! Unfortunately they had 5 cats that needed rehoming, they managed to find homes for 2 and i found a home for a 3rd, which leaves just 2. They are the sweetest things and would bring a lot of love to the right home. The 1st is an all white female, 6 years old and the 2nd is a tricoour long haired female, 12 years old, she also has a very minor heart murmur that requires a tablet every day, the medication is very cheap maybe only £5 a month.
If we did'nt already have 5 cats of our own i would take them, as it is i have taken it upon myself to rehome them as they were quite prepared to have them destroyed as neither of them can be bothered to rehome them!!!
Ideally they would go into o family home straight away but if anyone knows of a GOOD rescue centre that can take them with a view to rehoming that could work too, i have tried our local cats protection league but they are chock full.

thanks for taking the time to look, marc.

Well they're a couple of prize c*nts then aren't they?People like that shouldn't be allowed to own pets or any other animals.
If we didn't already have 3 cats and a dog I'd have considered it certainly, but I'd also have been tempted to take a s
t on their sofa while viewing said kittehs. Heartless b

Where are they based and do they get on with other dogs and cats?
What she said. More info please.they have'nt had any jabs, but i am going to pay for them to be done on the weekend, the white one is chipped the tricolour is'nt. The white one is a very big cat she would benefit from going to someone who could control her eating, she would happily pinch all the other cats food.
Although the tricolour has a murmur if she misses a table or 2 it does'nt affect her, she is very active and is quite happy coming and going through the catflap.

I take it they are in Cheltnam? Near you.
I know some people involved with the Cats Protection League. Trust me, you don't have to have them destroyed. Whatevers went wrong, it's not the cats fault. Kudos to you for trying to help.
Let me know your location, and we can see from there if I can help.
Edited to say, I see the Bristol part. I'll ask a friend

My two dogs are not cat friendly so I can't help I'm afraid, shame they are lovely looking kitties.
You could try posting photos and details on this website http://www.animalrescuers.co.uk/html/homwant.html
Hope you find them homes soon - and well done for doing the decent thing, your friends should be very ashamed (but I imagine they are too self obsessed to care!)

It's a bit of a haul to take them to Norfolk but this place is reknowned for their rehoming, if you can't find a friendly PH'er to take them on you could put your mind at rest.
Top bloke for doing your best for them, if only there were more like you and less like their current owners.

Try the Celia Hammond Trust http://www.celiahammond.org/ there is no way they will destroy a healthy cat and will more than likely rehome them quickly. My wife has around 6 rescued cats at her stables.
Seriously thinking about taking them but we have 2 young cats and 3 dogs so I would be concerned about the older one.
